Hi & Hello!
I said in my last post that I would be sharing Part 2 of the Follow Your Arrow workshop – but I’m straying a bit this week. This bible entry was inspired by the class so I’m sharing this instead of the flip-thru of my workshop booklet. The class allows us to recall certain verses that mean a lot to our story and this one in Psalms is just that for me.

Using the fabulous printables from the Print & Pray shop by The Salted Brew – I dove paint first into this page.

The verse Psalm 37:4 was one of the first verses I loved as a new Christian. When I was saved, I was working for a Christian office and they allowed us to choose a biblical saying/verse/text for our name plates on our desks. I chose Delight Yourself in the Lord. I just liked the happiness of the words – not giving much thought to it’s origin or meaning.

Back then, I was full of faith but confused about how I was supposed to act as a Christian woman. I was trusting of the Lord and I was a good person, as the verse says. But I wasn’t pursuing holiness – at all. I had no clue what that even meant.

As I get older I can see this clearer and with more skilled eyes. Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. Therefore, holiness is a much better characteristic to strive for – and that’s what I’m trying to do every day.

As always, I have a video of my process of getting this page how you see it here. I hope you enjoy it!
