Glitterfying has got to be a verb right? Or perhaps a noun? I’m a glitterfier, are you a glitterfier? I’d happily glitterfy everything… and is often the case, once you start glitterfying you’ll quickly discover you really have glitterfied everything! I’ve been known to find it in my pockets, on my kitchen sponge, all over my children of course, and even at the bottom of my coffee cup as I take the last mouthful! There’s no doubt it can get a little messy, but it’s also super fun right? Last year I shared a few different techniques on how to add glitter into your journaling bible (you can see that post HERE) and today I’m going to expand on that with another new and exciting technique.

This technique involves making your own customised embellishments using nothing more that your sewing machine, repurposed plastic packaging and a good dash of glitter.

Quite often I find that if I spend a little bit of time creating a special ‘statement piece’ for my project – in this case the glittery roses – then you can keep the remainder of the page fairly simple to allow maximum attention to rest on them. That means this page came together very quickly in the end and I’ll share that process with you today in my video as well.
