I just left craftcation, a maker’s conference. We spent all weekend talking about as makers we feel intense pride in the things we make. The Sunday after the conference as I was reaching for my bible I was struck by how much pride God must feel looking down on the things HE created! We really can’t even imagine, all I can do is relate it to what I create. God gets us! As silly as that sounds really that is all we are searching for in life to to be heard, to be seen, to find people that REALLY GET us!!!! Really get this journey we are on together, really understand what being CREATIVE does to our spirit!! Really SEES us. God sees us for exactly who we are RIGHT where are are at.
I have to be honest with you, I was a little afraid to work in Genesis but I am so glad I broke through that wall. I had these “I heart handmade” stamps that worked perfectly with this theme God had set in my heart. I used my faber castell pit pen makers to color in some of the stamps, and then for the black stamps I used Staz-On
