I wanted to share something that’s been really on my heart lately… Scrapbooking! Lately I’ve been really missing scrapbooking. I used to do weekly pages documenting our weekly activities. I had my camera with me everywhere and tried to document everything that happened and all the cute quotes. This year I’ve been struggling to document our memories. It wasn’t until recently that the fire came back… but in a totally different way.
I still want to document our memories, but I also want to leave a legacy. I want my kids to look through the albums and see how much mama loved Jesus. My kids LOVE looking through our past albums, but there is one thing that’s really missing from those albums and that’s our heart for Jesus, our prayers and what we’re teaching our kids.
So, this week I started making little 3×4 and 4×6 cards with inspirational quotes and prayers and I’m going to start adding them into my album.
I’m going to start writing down the adorable prayers my 4 year old says at dinner.
I’m going to record the memory verses we’ve learned at Awanas and Vacation Bible School.
I want them to look through the albums and see how important our relationship with God is and how much He loves us and cares for us. I want them to see God’s amazing grace and mercy.
