Hi there! I am so excited you are here today because I have a very exciting announcement… another Illustrated Faith workshop!!! This one is in Indianapolis ( I am excited to go back!!!) and I hope that you will join us!!!
When I taught my first Illustrated Faith workshop (outside the comfort of my home) last month in Texas I was amazed at what God does when we came together and experienced this as a group of believers. I was amazed at the stories I heard, at the prayers that were answered and oh my goodness how many times they brought me to tears! The only way I could explain the feeling I left with was that “after a conference high” mixed with an awesome and productive crop! Instead of falling into bed at the end of the night from exhaustion I was dancing/jumping on my bed praising God for what he had done in that tiny blue house in Texas. Hello, it doesn’t get much better than that right?
When Mare contacted me about coming to Indianapolis as I was leaving Texas, I knew God was telling me that teaching workshop was part of my path now and I was SO EXCITED!! Mare is equally excited to host this workshop and we have both been praying over each one of you that can attend in preparation for us to come together and experience a unique fellowship experience.
For those familiar with the area, Mare has arranged for our workshops to take place at the State Inn (a former military base, how cool is that? ) and we will be offering a variety of workshop options with the ability to add on creative play time as well as lodging and food. She has done an amazing job of setting up a flexible, totally customizable weekend for you all! Our main focus for this event is the Introduction to Illustrating your Faith ($45), to really get all those questions you may have answered. We will be exploring WHY we do this as well as HOW. Throughout this class we will be covering the different styles of this process and talk about products that work well. We will also put what we are learning into action as we work side by side in our bibles and share our process. There will also an opportunity to take the Art Song workshop ($25) which goes more in depth into entering our favorite worship songs into your journaling bible.
