The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
Guess what? It’s my birthday! I never understand people who get embarrassed about birthdays. I love mine! It is a perfect opportunity to count my blessings – and eat cake!
This year, to celebrate, I decided to pick a verse to focus on throughout the next year of my life and while I was meditating on what that might be these verses in Lamentations came to mind.
This has truly been an amazing year. Maybe one of the best years of my life. I sought the Lord and he heard my cry. I have been redeemed in big ways and today I am celebrating God’s gifts with this fun illustration in my Bible.
