I will admit, I was a little overwhelmed with where to start when I received my new ESV Interleaved Journaling Bible. I had printed up a selfie I had posted a couple months ago on Instagram and I really thought it would be perfect to insert the photo to document this time in my life. I had also just received the Created to Create Devotional Kit and had cut up all the printables in the stamp set backing. The theme of the kit was just too perfect for a mini scrapbook page for the name page.

I really encourage you making your Journaling Bibles more personal and adding a selfie… I know for me, I’m not a fan of taking pictures of myself, but I’ve learned that my family needs me to. This is your journey that you are documenting and not only does your family want to see your own handwriting and journaling in it, they also want to see pictures of you along the journey.

I loved the verse on the transparency so much and it’s a verse I want to live out so I really thought it was perfect for the name page to remind myself to think of these things and also to remind myself that I’m an artist and this form of art worship is speaking my creative heart language. God created me with a creative heart and I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the pages of my new Bible.
