Hey hey God Girls! (& Guys!) I’m still chugging away on my Lists by Faith devotional! As I was sitting creating this spread, I realized how LONG it takes me to do a page in this devotional! And I’ve concluded that it’s because I do so much THINKING about what I want to put on my list. I mean, I give it some seriously introspective thought.

I know I’ve touched on this in my previous list posts, but these prompts are dynamite. I think the one that took me the longest to complete was “What I want to accomplish here on Earth.” Seriously!? That is a loaded question.

Do any of you have a “Bucket List” of things you want to experience before you die? I do. Mine currently has 102 items on it & I add to it all the time. A few of the items on my list are: send a message in a bottle, learn to solve a Rubik’s Cube, make homemade soft pretzels, & write something in wet cement. But are these really things that glorify God? Eh… not really, right? Not that fun & quirky ambitions aren’t totally valuable– I firmly believe that they are. But for this prompt in my list devotional, I wanted to really sum up what I wanted to accomplish in my life overall & reflect my time on this Earth as a Christian.

The printable set Joyful Noise by Leah Schumacher is all about living your life out loud for the Lord & feeding on happiness. These printable pieces really had me on fire for all the wonderful things I have ahead of me in life. The piece with 1 Peter 1:6 on it just had me all sorts of pumped for making a Spiritual Bucket List! The passage reads: “Be truly glad there is wonderful joy ahead.” Yes yes yes! So I made my list. And I made my regular bucket list just ONE bullet point. There are 102 items contained just in that one bullet. There is so much I want to accomplish to glorify Him & I could never fit them all on to one list, but I picked 8 important ones.

I think it would be fun to re-write this list & post it somewhere I will see it every day. Like maybe in my creative space or on my refrigerator. Each day I can look at this list & ask myself if I’m living in a way that puts me steps closer to completing this list. Our time on Earth is but a drop in the ocean, therefore we need to live for Him & make our days count!
